Project Controller / Senior Project Controller - Construction Contractor - London Based - £65k+ Per Annum + Car allowance + benefits

This company is a UK based Construction Contractor which have seven regional offices around the UK. They employ over 2000 people and their turnover last year was just short of £1 Billion.
They are part of Royal BAM Group and their sister company is one of the Biggest Civil Engineering contractors in the UK. They take a very high quality approach to all of their work which includes investment and development, through to design, construction, operations and maintenance.

The Role
This prestigious Construction Contractor are looking to add a Project Controller to their ever expanding team in Central London.

Duties will include:
o Working up methods and preparing resourced programmes in support of tendering for a wide range of projects with a value of at least £10 Million.
o Writing contributions to quality submissions and creating presentations to support tenders
o Liaising and working with contract staff in the handover from tender stage, to prepare contract start up programmes and help establish contract controls

Key attributes
o Experience of a wide range of construction projects as a Project Controller on key projects for well known Consultancies or Contractors.

The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Project Controller or Senior Project Controller and will need to posses the following experience:

o New build construction projects
o Experience as a practicing Project Controller, certainly in a tendering capacity and ideally in a contract situation too
o Ability to bring forward innovative solutions in response to both method and time challenges
o Measured and well organised approach
o Confident communication, both in writing and in internal and external presentations
o Sound understanding of both ICE and ECC form of contracts
o Confident handler Primavera and P3
o Established user of AutoCad
o Competent user of MsWord, Excel and Power Point
