Planning Engineer Civil/Rail Project Central London Based
£55,000 -£65,000 Per Annum + Car allowance + benefits

The Role
They have a current vacancy for a Senior Planner / Planning Engineer to work on Various Rail / Civils Interface Projects.

Duties will include:

" Planning using P3e and Microsoft Project Planning software.
" Creation of new and maintenance of existing design and construction programmes for a variety of different projects.
" Monitoring live works against baseline.
" Creation of resource and cost loaded tender programmes from base information using own initiative.
" The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure within a busy and highly motivated team environment to strict deadlines.

The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Planner or Senior Planner and will need to posses the following:

Key attributes
o Experience of a wide range of civil engineering construction as a contractor to at least Sub-Agent level, including at least several of the following:

o Heavy Rail and Civil experience
o Experience as a practicing Planning Engineer, certainly in a tendering capacity and ideally in a contract situation too
o Ability to bring forward innovative solutions in response to both method and time challenges
o Measured and well organised approach
o Confident communication, both in writing and in internal and external presentations
o Sound understanding of both ICE and ECC form of contracts
o Familiarity with design development process
o Well developed IT capability
o Confident handler of computer hardware and software
o Experience of working with Primavera SureTrak and P3
o Established user of AutoCad
o Competent user of MsWord, Excel and Power Point
